I loved this book because I learned how dogs often provide the situations in our lives that we need in order to grow and learn more about ourselves and others. What are we willing to do for a dog's well being, safety, and comfort? These stories are so telling about the character traits of each dogowner. We think we know a person's personality and come to expect certain reactions from them, until we read about their interaction with their dog. We think we know our own boundaries of relationship with a dog and those around us, until we are fortunate enough to have a dog who affects our life and others in a remarkable way.
This is a beautiful read.

I have always had multiple dogs (until recently)in my house and after reading this amazing book, I realize how much I miss one. Loved all the heart warming stories and laughed out loud about some of these stories. Have ordered a bunch of books to send to my crazy dog loving friends who have called and said how much they have loved the stories. This is a great read!!
I really like dogs and puppies. The stories were quite short and to the point. all of them focused on the unconditional love that canines can give us and help us through rough spots in life.
